Three Bangladeshi expatriate students died in a road accident in Qatar last night, Bangladeshi community sources said.
All the deceased -- Ahmed Safwan (21), son of Iqbal Ahmed of Sylhet; Isran (22), son of Nurul Islam of Chattogram; and AzharulHaque Joy (22), son of Fazlul Haque of Feni -- were students and they were living in Qatar with their families.
The accident took place on Al Shamal road around 9pm yesterday.
According to Bangladeshi community sources, their car's tyre was punctured on Al Shamal road.
When the three were repairing it, another car hit their vehicle from behind -- leaving one of them dead on the spot.
Two other seriously injured were taken to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
