Four people went missing after a boat capsised in the Padma River in Rajshahi on Sunday morning.
Deputy Assistant Director of Rajshahi Fire Service and Civil Defence Zakir Hossain confirmed the matter.
He said the incident happened at Jogar Ghat area of Rajshahi city around 8:30am.
"The boat carrying about 30 people was going towards Madhyachar from Jogar Ghat. Fire service divers are currently working to rescue the missing," he added.
Most of the passengers swam to the shore, according to eyewitnesses, however, four people went missing.
