Helarani Dutta, 94, has cadt her vote in Cumilla City Corporation rlections, using EVM for the first time in her life.
She reached the polling centre around 7:40am on Wednesday, walking about 70 metres with her son from the Cumilla Victoria College gate to reach the polling centre.
She was the first to reach the centre, reports bdnews24.com.
According to the officials, she is the oldest voter to cast her ballot.
Asked whether she is comfortable with the EVM machine, she replied: "I don’t think it will be a problem. I can do it if they show me how to do."
