Three days into the killings of two community leader, another Rohingya man has been brutally killed in a refugee camp at Ukhiya upazila of Cox's Bazar over what law enforcers suspect was previous enmity.
The deceased is Syed Hossain, 23, the son of late Jamil Hossain of block-10 at Balukhali camp No.19, said Armed Police Battalion (APBn).
Hossain was first hacked and then shot to death around 8:30pm on Tuesday, APBn ASP Md Faruk Ahmed said.
Hossain was talking to some others in front of a shop at Palongkhali when a group of armed Rohingyas attacked him.
His father was also murdered previously.
Two Rohingya leaders were hacked to death at block-18/A of Balukhali No. 19 camp under Ukhiya upazila on Saturday evening.
