In a 24-hour count till Thursday morning, health authorities in Bangladesh reported 11,596 new coronavirus cases.
With this, the tally of Covid-19 infections in the country has reached 1,835,776.
During the last day, 33 fatalities were reported from the fatal virus, according to latest government data.
The latest figures have taken the country's aggregate fatalities at 28,494.
Among the eight divisions, Dhaka recorded the highest number of cases and deaths with 6,984 infections and 18 fatalities. Chattogram recorded 1,512 cases and two deaths.
The figures were recorded between Wednesday 8:00 am and Thursday 8:00 am.
The latest Covid-19 situation in the country was disclosed by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in its routine daily statement.
