In a 24-hour count till Thursday morning, health authorities in Bangladesh reported 20 fatalities and 3,539 fresh infections.
With this, the tally of Covid-19 cases in the country has reached 1,926,570, while the overall fatality rose to 28,907.
In the last 24 hours, at least 34,547 samples were tested for a positivity rate of 10.24 percent.
Earlier, the daily test positivity rate was 12.2 percent.
On the flip side, another 11,800 people recovered from the infectious disease taking the total recovery to 1,727,866.
The figures were recorded between Wednesday 8:00 am and Thursday 8:00 am.
The latest Covid-19 situation in the country was revealed by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in its routine daily statement.
