In a 24-hour count till Friday morning, health authorities in Bangladesh reported five fatalities. The country also reported 257 cases during the same period.
The positivity rate came down to 1.86 percent during the same period as 13,860 samples were tested across the country, according to the latest government data.
The latest development took the country's death toll to 29,105 and the total caseload to 19,49,055.
The figures were reported between Thursday 8:00 am and Friday 8:00 am.
The latest Covid-19 situation in the country was revealed by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in its routine daily statement.
