Bangladesh reports four deaths, 436 infections overnight

In a 24-hour count till Monday morning, health authorities in Bangladesh reported four fatalities, and 43 fresh infections. 

With the latest development, the tally of Covid-19 fatalities in the country has reached 29,089 and the overall caseload has climbed to 19,47,702.

The positivity rate has dropped to 2.18 percent during the same period as 20,076 samples were tested across the country. 

The capital Dhaka has reported the highest figure in terms of fatalities --- 3 deaths. 

Meanwhile. a total of 3,546 people recovered from Covid-19 in the meantime taking the total recovery to 18,46,886.

The figures were recorded between Sunday 8:00 am and Monday 8:00 am. 

The latest Covid-19 situation in the country was revealed by the Directorate General of Health Services in its routine daily statement.
