Bangladesh reports seven deaths, 446 cases

In a 24-hour count till Tuesday morning, health authorities in Bangladesh reported another 446 Covid-19 cases and seven deaths 

The latest development took the caseload to 1,948,148 and total fatalities to 29,096

After testing as many as 19,964 samples a daily positivity rate of 2.23 percent was reported, according to the latest government data. 

Meanwhile, as many as 3,062 people recovered from the disease taking the total recoveries to 1,849,946.

The figures were recorded between Monday 8:00 am and Tuesday 8:00 am. 

The latest Covid-19 situation in the country was revealed by the Directorate General of Health Services in its routine daily statement.
