Following the previous two movies in the Fantastic Beasts series which is set in the Harry Potter Universe, Warner Bros has confirmed the title for the third movie and a release date.
The third instalment will be titled- Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and the release date has been set to be on 15th April, 2022 instead of July. As soon as the announcement was made, Twitter did not take the news with much kindness, mostly because Johnny Depp has been dismissed from the iconic role of Gellert Grindelwald. Many fans have called to boycott the movie as a stand against JK Rolwlings controversial opinions as well as the issue with Johnny Depp.
The rest of the cast is set to remain the same but Mads Mikkelsen will take on the role of Grindelwald from this movie. It remains to be seen how the fans receive the movie once it is released.
