The authorities concerned have officially fixed the tolls for different vehicles crossing the Padma Bridge.
The bridges division published a gazette notification in this regard on Tuesday.
The toll for long-haul bus has been fixed at Tk 2,400, Tk 2,800 for a medium truck, Tk 100 for a motorbike, says the notification.
Besides, the toll for car and jeep will be Tk 750 while Tk 1,200 for pick-up van, Tk 1,300 for microbus, Tk 1,400 for small bus, Tk 2,000 for medium size bus, Tk 1,600 for small-size truck, Tk 2,100 for semi medium truck, and Tk 5,500 for large truck.
The proposal was sent to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for approval on April 28 and she approved it without bringing any change.
