Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that police will be directed to take action if BNP activists assemble at Nayapaltan on December 10, instead of Suhrawardy Udyan for their rally.
He made the remark while speaking to reporters after the inauguration of the newly built Shaistaganj Police Station building in Habiganj on Saturday.
BNP said many people would gather for them and that is why the police commissioner has allocated the Suhrawardy Udyan for their rally. The BNP, however, said they will hold the rally at Nayapaltan instead of Suhrawardy Udyan, added the minister.
