Residents of Dhaka and other parts of the country reported feeling an earthquake this morning around 9:05 am.
A moderate earthquake was measured 5.2 on the Richter Scale.
The epicenter of the quake was about 10 kilometres deep in the Bay of Bengal, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
