Cabinet secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam has said the much-awaited Padma bridge will be inaugurated in the last week of June.
However, the inauguration date has not been fixed yet, he added.
The cabinet secretary came up with this disclosure at a press conference at secretariat in Dhaka following a cabinet meeting with prime minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair on Thursday.
He informed that the inauguration date will be finalised in line with the application of bridge authority.
