MNS activists put up banners in front of the Bollywood legend’s residence Pratiksha to help BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) to widen the road in front of Sant Gyaneshwar Road.

MNS leader Manish Dhuri, who led the protest outside the star’s home told Indian media, “In 2017, BMC sent a notice to Amitabh Bachchan and other societies in the lane for road widening. All the societies cooperated, but not Big B.”

“We are still in waiting to get a response from the biggest Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Therefore, today we put up the banner,” he added.

He further said, "If no action is taken by BMC and Big B does not respond, we will carry out huge protests against the BMC on the matter."

According to Indian media reports, BMC had planned to break the wall of AB’s Pratiksha bungalow for the widening of the road to ease traffic. The road is currently 45 feet, which the BMC plans to widen to 60 feet. AB is yet to make a statement on the matter. The case is currently in Mumbai court.
