BCCI (The Board of Control for Cricket in India) president and veteran Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly has confirmed to Indian media that a biopic will be made on his life. The former team India captain told the press that the film will be made in Hindi.
However, the director for the project has not been confirmed yet.
Ganguly told News18 on July 14, "Yes, I have agreed to the biopic. It will be in Hindi but it is not possible to say the name of the director now. It will take a few more days for arranging everything."
According to Ganguly, finalising the lead actor is almost done too.
Popular Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is the primary choice of the team to play the role.
He also mentioned that two more popular actors are on the shortlist to play his character if schedules do not work out with Ranbir.
