Watch: Shilpa breaks down during house raid, husband Raj denied bail

Recent Indian media reports suggest, Bollywood superstar Shilpa Shetty shouted then broke down to tears while Mumbai police conducted a raid in their home on July 23. Her husband businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 in an alleged pornography production and distribution case.

This was the first time after his arrest when he got to come back to his own home along with the raid team. Shilpa was also questioned for six hours by the officials during this raid at their Juhu residence.

As per recent reports, Shilpa Shetty shouted at her husband and then wept when he was brought home by the police.

She reportedly yelled, "We had everything, what was the need to do all this."

The reports also claimed, Shilpa broke down on seeing her husband and kept saying that their family's reputation was ruined, their endorsements in the industry were being cancelled and that she had to give up so many projects.

She reportedly also spoke about financial losses with her husband.

Meanwhile, the police have so far not found any evidence that would suggest Shilpa's involvement in the case. She had already been questioned twice, once at the police station and once at her residence in Juhu during the raid.

However, Shilpa and a lot of other Bollywood stars in their statement said that Raj Kundra is innocent and also stressed the difference between erotica and porn.

The officials have claimed that Kundra has stopped cooperating with the investigation. He has also challenged his arrest at the Bombay High Court. Nine more people, including Raj Kundra's close aide Ryan Thorpe, has been arrested in the case.

Kundra, 45, and his aide Thorpe were denied bail by a Mumbai court on Wednesday (July 28).

Raj Kundra's controversial app "Hotshots" is at the centre of the investigation. The app, according to police, was removed from the Google Play Store for Android phones and Apple's App Store, so the accused "activated Plan B" and launched another app, Bollyfame, which is also under investigation.

On Tuesday (July 27), Raj Kundra was sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the Mumbai court.
