The documentary film “Hasina: A Daughters Tale” has got a special screening from The Bangladeshi Embassy in Athens, in cooperation with the multilingual library of Greece.
A large number of Bangladeshis, students, embassy official and local civil society people attended the screening which was held on Sunday at the premises of “We Need Books” library.
A media stated, this documentary created a lot of enthusiasm and curiosity among the audience about the wonder daughter, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her family members and their efforts in making the nation modern and democratic.
The crowd was amazed to see how the miracle daughter Sheikh Hasina survived through the darkest time of the era with her only alive sister Sheikh Rehana following the brutal assassination of their father and the whole family.
The founder of multilingual library, Loanna Nissiriou welcomed the audience with a short speech.
Bangladesh Ambassador Ashud Ahmed thanked the viewers for joining the screening as they are celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Independent Bangladesh.
Ambassador Ashud wished Bangladesh would become the real Golden Bengal that have prosperity, modernism, inclusion, and democracy as imagined within 2041 through the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.
