Internationally acclaimed feature film ‘Rehana Maryam Noor’ by Bangladeshi director Abdullah Mohammad Saad is set to hit the local cinemas on November 12.
The film received praise by the juries at the 94th Academy Awards as it entered the Best International Feature from Bangladesh.
'Rehana Maryam Noor' is scripted and directed by Abdullah Mohammad Saad, while actress Bandhan plays the protagonist. Saberi Alam, Afia Zahina Jaima, Kazi Sami Hasan, Jahed Chowdhury, Farazana, Khushbu and other actors form the film's cast.
The film was submitted to the Bangladesh Film Censor Board on September 12, and will be open to local audience November 12.
The film explores the struggles of the eponymous character Rehana Maryam Noor, a faculty in private medical college who fights for justice on behalf of her young daughter and student.
