On Wednesday (Nov 11), a court in Pabna awarded ten youth life imprisonment for killing a teenager in Pabna's Bhangura upazila in 2009.
Those granted the life term are: Pravash Chandra Das, 18, Shahin Hossain, 21, Shafiqul Islam, 21, Saddam Hossain, 20, Abdul Karim, 45, Prince, 20, Farid Ahmed, 22, Bilkis Begum, 40, Yusuf Ali, 22, and Dulal Hossain, 20. All are residents of the Choubaria area of the upazila, reports UNB.
The verdict was handed down by Pabna Special District and Sessions Judge Ahsan Tareq.
