The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Monday (December 1) approved 18 development projects with a total estimated cost of Tk 16,0032.77 crore.
The decision came during an ECNEC meeting held at the NEC Conference Room in the capital, with Chief Adviser and ECNEC Chairperson Prof Muhammad Yunus presiding.
Out of the total cost, Tk 10,101.10 crore will be provided by the government, while Tk 5,609.70 crore will come through project loans. The remaining Tk 379.31 crore will be contributed from the own funds of the implementing agencies.
