A rape and murder case has been filed against Bashundhara Group MD Sayem Sobhan Anvir, and 8 others including his wife and parents over the death of college student Mossarat Jahan Munia.
On Monday (September 6), Nusrat Jahan Tania (Mossarat Jahan Munia’s sister) filed the case with Dhaka Women and Children Abuse Prevention Tribunal 8 under judge Mahroza Parveen.
Nusrat Jahan Tania confirmed the matter to the media this afternoon.
She said, ‘Sayem Sobhan Anvir, his wife Sabrina, father Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, mother Afroza, Sharmin, Saifa Rahman Mim, Faria Mahbub Piasha, and Ibrahim Ahmed Ripon are the right accused in the case.’
