Tilda Swinton at DLF

British actor and Oscar winner Tilda Swinton, participated in a session “Readings by DLF's Reader-in-Residence” on the third day of Dhaka Lit Fest yesterday.

During the session she said, “Whenever I read poetry, I try to understand it. Poetry is a matter of thinking; poetry speaks of life”.

The session was hosted by Dhaka Lit Fest Director Ahsan Akbar, at Bangla Academy.

Tilda also talked about how she got to know about Dhaka Lit Fest. She said she first heard about the event from Ahsan Akbar and she’s very enthusiastic about the whole event.
