Prof Dr Md Sayedur Rahman has stepped down from his post as special assistant to Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, where he was in charge of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare with the rank of state minister.
A gazette notification issued by the Cabinet Division said President Mohammed Shahabuddin has accepted his resignation.
Dr Sayedur Rahman was appointed to the post on November 10 last year.
