A massive crowd of mourners thronged Manik Mia Avenue and adjacent areas on Wednesday as people from all walks of life gathered to attend the Namaz-e-Janaza of BNP Chairperson and three-time Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
Braving cold, traffic restrictions and security restrictions, supporters and citizens poured into the area to pay their final respects to the uncompromising leader.
People from different parts of the country have been arriving in the capital since early morning to attend the janaza and pay tribute.
