Rain and thundershowers are likely to sweep across all eight divisions of Bangladesh over the next 24 hours, with the weather office warning of gusty winds and moderately heavy to heavy rainfall in parts of the country.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) issued the forecast for the period from 9am Tuesday to 9am Wednesday.
According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds may occur at most places in Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions may also experience rain or thundershowers during the period.
The Met Office also forecast moderately heavy to heavy rainfall at some places across the country.
Meanwhile, day and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged nationwide, the BMD said.
