National Citizen Party (NCP) central chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary has announced a long march to the Prime Minister’s Office involving 350 vehicles. He made the announcement in a post on his verified Facebook account on Sunday night.
Patwary wrote that 357 vehicles had already been listed for a planned showdown toward the Prime Minister’s Office in protest against what he described as rumours circulated by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s office.
He further said that, in recognition of the country’s 300 parliamentary constituencies and 50 reserved seats for women, they had decided to symbolically hold a long march and peaceful showdown toward the Prime Minister’s Office with 350 vehicles.
The NCP leader said the required number of vehicles had already been registered and that there was no need for anyone to contact the party to register additional vehicles.
