Rain and thunderstorms are expected in several parts of Bangladesh over the next 24 hours, with some areas likely to experience moderately heavy to heavy rainfall, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
The Met office said light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, may occur in many places across Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
A few places in Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions may also experience rain or thunderstorms, while moderately heavy to heavy rainfall could occur at some locations nationwide.
Both daytime and nighttime temperatures may fall slightly across the country.
Rajarhat recorded the highest temperature on Sunday at 36.5°C, while Sylhet recorded the lowest temperature today at 23.8°C.
In the 24 hours until 6am today, Teknaf received the highest rainfall of 68 millimetres, according to the BMD.
In Dhaka, the sun is expected to set at 6:18pm today and rise at 5:40am tomorrow.
