Romanian pop star Otilia is set to return to the Dhaka stage, marking her second visit to Bangladesh since 2022. The singer, best known for her hit song Bilionera, will perform at a concert titled “Otilia Returns: Bilionera Live in Dhaka” on November 27.
The concert is being organised by local event management company ImE Makers Bangladesh. Otilia has already shared a promotional post for the event on her official Facebook page, sparking fresh excitement among her Bangladeshi fans.
Otilia rose to international fame with Bilionera, which became popular among listeners in several countries following its release. The song also earned her a dedicated fan base in Bangladesh. Her return to Dhaka after a long break has therefore generated considerable interest among local music fans.
ImE Makers Bangladesh has experience organising large-scale concerts featuring international artists. The company has previously brought artists including Arijit Singh and Neha Kakkar to Dhaka. It has also organised high-profile events such as the Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship Concert and Concert for Nepal.
Otilia’s upcoming concert will now join that list. Organisers expect the event, driven by her popularity and the worldwide recognition of Bilionera, to become one of the year’s major international music events in Bangladesh.
Naim Ashraf, managing director of ImE Makers Bangladesh, said their goal is to use their previous experience and expertise to deliver an international-standard event for Bangladeshi audiences.
The concert venue, ticket prices and ticket sales schedule have yet to be announced. Organisers said further details will be released soon.
