Law Minister Md Asaduzzaman has urged people to point out any mistakes made by the BNP-led government.

He made the remarks at an event held at a hotel in the capital’s Banani on Wednesday to mark Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.

The law minister said, “If the government makes a mistake, point it out.” He said the country must be made livable for future generations. Mistakes are inevitable when work is being done, he added, stressing the need to correct mistakes and move forward while following the ideals of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

He said the country must move towards building a society where people can enjoy democracy and the rule of law, ensuring that fascism never returns and that “we do not become fascists ourselves.”

He also called for moving away from the culture of opposing something simply for the sake of opposition and instead working to develop a roadmap for the welfare of the country.
