Dry weather likely across Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast dry weather with a temporarily partly cloudy sky across the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am today.

According to a BMD bulletin issued this morning, moderate to thick fog may form in many areas from midnight to morning and could persist until noon in some places. The department warned that thick fog may temporarily disrupt air navigation, inland river transport, and road communication.

Both night and day temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country. However, due to foggy conditions, cold feelings may continue in many areas.

On Saturday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius in Teknaf under the Chattogram division, while today’s lowest temperature was 9.8 degrees Celsius at Nikli in the Dhaka division.

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:20 pm today and rise at 6:40 am tomorrow.
