The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has announced that fuel prices at the consumer level will remain unchanged in September.
The information was disclosed in a notice issued Monday by the Operations-1 branch of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
According to the notice, the price of diesel was set at Tk 115 per litre, octane at Tk 145, petrol at Tk 140 and kerosene at Tk 135.
The notice said the prices of these fuels would remain unchanged in September with the approval of the appropriate authority.
The unchanged prices will take effect from September 1, in accordance with the ministry’s decision.
