Government employees posted outside their constituencies and officials engaged in election duties have been instructed to complete registration by December 25, 2025 to cast their votes via IT-supported postal ballots for the upcoming national election and referendum.

The Election Commission (EC) issued a circular stating that registration will be conducted under the In-Country Postal Voting (ICPV) system daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm until the deadline.

According to the circular, government employees working outside their constituencies, officials involved in election duties, and voters in legal custody must register through the “Postal Vote BD” app to be eligible to vote via the ICPV system.

Military personnel engaged in election duties are also eligible to complete registration and cast their postal votes for the 13th national election and 2026 referendum.
