The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds in different parts of the country over the next 24 hours starting from 9:00 am today.
According to a met office bulletin, rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds are likely to occur at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions. Meanwhile, weather conditions in other parts of the country are expected to remain mainly dry with a temporarily partly cloudy sky.
The bulletin also said that both day and night temperatures across the country may remain nearly unchanged during this period.
On Saturday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 34.2 degrees Celsius in Sylhet under Sylhet division. The lowest temperature today was also recorded in Sylhet at 17.3 degrees Celsius.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:05 pm today and rise at 6:14 am tomorrow.
