Rain likely across Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted that rain may occur in different parts of the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am.

In its regular weather bulletin, the BMD said, "Rain/thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions."

The bulletin also noted that day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.

According to the report, the highest temperature on Sunday was recorded at 33°C in Narsingdi and Khulna districts, while today’s minimum temperature was 17°C in Teknaf under Cox’s Bazar district.

In Dhaka, today’s sunset will be at 6:05 pm, and tomorrow’s sunrise is expected at 6:14 am.
