Thunderstorms will pass over 19 districts of the country including Dhaka according to Meteorological Department. This storm will blow at a speed of 60 km/h. It is forecasted from 9 am to 6 pm today.
In the forecast, it is said that over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet regions from West or North-West direction gusts or gusty winds may occur temporarily with a speed of 45 to 60 km/h with rain or thundershowers.
At the same time, the river ports in these areas have been asked to show warning signal number 1.
According to the forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am today, the extension of low pressure has extended over West Bengal and adjoining areas. In this situation, a mild heat wave is flowing over Dhaka, Madaripur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Moulvibazar, Comilla, Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni, Cox's Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban, Khulna, Jessore, Chuadanga, Barisal, Patuakhali and Bhola districts and it can be mitigated from some places.
Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions may experience rain or thundershowers temporarily. Along with this, there may be scattered hailstorms at some places.
Day temperatures may decrease slightly across the country and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged. Chances of rain or thundershowers may increase in the next 72 hours.
