The government has withdrawn 102 officials of the 37th BCS cadre from their current roles as Assistant Commissioners (Land), commonly known as AC Land, in various regions across the country.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Public Administration issued separate notifications assigning these officers to different divisional commissioner offices for their upcoming postings as Senior Assistant Commissioners or Assistant Commissioners.
An official from the ministry confirmed that the decision was part of a phased process to reassign the 37th BCS officers from their current AC Land responsibilities.
The reassignment aims to facilitate their career progression within the civil administration.
