Ahead of the upcoming Central Student Union (CSU) elections at universities, the Bangladesh Army has clarified its position regarding participation.
The army stated that the government has not assigned any election-related duties to it, and there will be no involvement of the army in the CSU elections in the future.
It emphasized that, under the direct supervision of law enforcement agencies and the overall administration of the universities, the elections are expected to be conducted in a peaceful and organized manner. The Bangladesh Army extended its best wishes to all participants.
