Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor, has checked on the health and treatment of Gono Odhikar Parishad (GOP) president Nurul Haque Nur.
On Saturday (August 30) at 1:00 PM, Dr. Yunus called Nur, who is receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), to inquire about his condition.
During the call, he assured that the incident that occurred the previous night would be thoroughly investigated and that appropriate action would be taken against those responsible.
Abu Hanif, senior member of GOP and media coordinator, confirmed the update. He stated that Nurul Haque Nur briefed the Chief Advisor in detail about the events of the previous night.
Dr. Yunus assured that a proper investigation would be conducted and all involved parties would face necessary action.
