Everyone must leave Ramana Batamul by 4pm, bags not allowed inside: DMP

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Khandkar Golam Farooq asked that everyone leave Ramna Park by 4pm, after After the Pahela Boishakh celebrations on Friday (April 14) .

He made this statement on Thursday, at a briefing on the security measures of the Bengali New Year 1430 celebration in Ramana Batamul.

"I expect to that people will be able to enjoy the program starting at 6am," remarked DMP Commissioner. 

Since ramadan is ongoing, he asked everyone to leave Ramana Park by 4 pm and suggested to return where they intended to go for iftar.

"After 4pm, visitors won't be allowed inside. Those that arrive earlier will exit by 4pm," he added.
