The results of the sixth public circular for the recruitment of entry-level teachers in non-government educational institutions have been published, with around 41,000 candidates receiving appointment recommendations.
The announcement was made on Tuesday (August 19) at 3 pm by Education Adviser Professor Dr. C.R. Abrar.
According to the written statement, a total of 100,822 vacant posts were reported from different institutions across the country. Following due process, recommendations have been made for the recruitment of about 41,000 lecturers/teachers.
The entire recruitment process—from e-registration to demand collection and merit-based recommendations—was completed with greater transparency and the assistance of modern technology.
Dr. Abrar further noted that the 18th Teacher Registration Examination initially drew 1.865 million applicants, of which 1.34 million took part in the preliminary test.
Among them, 479,981 candidates passed. A total of 348,680 sat for the written exam, with 83,865 clearing it. Later, 81,209 faced viva voce examinations, of whom 60,634 passed. Out of these, about 41,000 have now received final appointment recommendations.
The results of the sixth circular are available on the Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) website under the service box titled “Sixth Recruitment Recommendation Notice 2025” and at ngi.teletalk.com.bd. Candidates can also log in using their user ID and password to view their results.
It has been confirmed that 41,627 candidates have been recommended for appointment to MPO-enlisted entry-level teaching positions on a temporary basis, subject to ongoing police verification. Educational institutions concerned will issue appointment letters to recommended candidates by September 18.
Candidates must join their respective institutions within seven working days of receiving their appointment letters. Failure to issue letters within the deadline may lead to action against the institution head and its managing or governing body, if complaints are raised by candidates.
Before issuing the appointment letter, each institution must form a three-member committee led by the head of the institution to verify the candidate’s academic credentials and NTRCA recommendation letter.
Institutions will bear full responsibility if any problems arise due to incorrect vacancy information, acceptance of joining without verification, or legal complications. NTRCA will not be held liable. Candidates found to have secured recommendations based on false or fabricated information, or declared unfit during police verification, will have their recommendations cancelled.
Once a candidate joins, the institution head must confirm the information online within seven working days by selecting “Yes” in the “Joining Status” option. If a candidate does not join, the head must select “No” and provide a valid reason.
