Legal steps soon against propaganda: Ex-army chief Aziz

Former Army boss General Aziz Ahmed has said, he refrained from taking steps to quell personal propaganda against him as he was in a very responsible post like army chief.

He said, if he would take any step, people may raise questions that he was abusing his power. However, Aziz Ahmed said, he is planning to seek legal steps against all propaganda after 25 June next year.

Aziz Ahmed said this in an interview with Deutsche Welle (DW) on Friday (December 24).

Aziz Ahmed said, “The cancelation of US visa is totally a rumour. If the US rejects anyone’s visa, they inform it earlier. I came from the US in February this year. If the visa was canceled, they would let me know it before. As per I know, I have still the visa.”

Asked about future plans the ex-army chief said, “I worked in the military for 39 years. Now, I am doing Ph.D. I have to research many things there. Besides, I pass m time playing golf with my retired and running colleagues.
