The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exam answer script re-evaluations have been published. The results became available online at around 10:00 am on Sunday.
This year’s SSC results saw the lowest pass rate in 16 years, with fewer students achieving GPA-5, leading to a record number of re-evaluation applications.
Many students challenged answer scripts for two or more subjects. The Dhaka Education Board alone received 223,664 applications for re-checking.
Many of these students, still awaiting results, were unable to apply for admission to higher secondary institutions.
