The match, played at Estadio Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, saw Sweden take control early. Yasin Ayari opened the scoring in the 7th minute, giving the Europeans a quick lead that set the tone for the rest of the game.
Despite continued pressure from Sweden, Tunisia struggled to respond. In the 30th minute, Alexander Isak doubled the advantage with a composed finish from a precise pass by Viktor Gyökeres, putting Sweden 2-0 ahead.
Tunisia briefly reignited hopes before halftime when Omar Rekik scored in the 43rd minute, assisted by Hannibal Mejbri, reducing the deficit to 2-1 and bringing the African side back into contention.
However, Sweden quickly reasserted control after the break. Gyökeres restored the two-goal cushion in the 59th minute, finishing off a pass from Isak to make it 3-1.
