The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has canceled the diplomatic passport of Member of Parliament Saber Hossain Chowdhury.
The Consular and MRP Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a General Order (GO) in this regard on Wednesday (April 5).
According to the order, Saber Hossain Chowdhury applied for cancellation of his diplomatic passport (D-00010893) last Tuesday. At the same time, the application requested to give him a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for a normal passport.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs accepted the application of this lawmaker of Dhaka-9 Constituency. Following the application, subject to the approval of the appropriate authorities, his diplomatic passport was canceled and the issue of ordinary passport was allowed.
