Shafiqul Alam, the press secretary for Bangladesh‍‍`s chief adviser, has made a strong statement saying that rumors about Bangladesh are being spread not just by India, but also by China and Russia.

He shared these thoughts during a discussion on Sunday morning (December 8) titled "New Bangladesh: Achievements, Challenges, and Moving Forward."

Alam said, "Some people are spreading the idea that Bangladesh is becoming like Afghanistan. It’s important to talk to the people here and clear up these false ideas."

He also mentioned, "These rumors are coming from not only India but also China and Russia. I invite them to come to Bangladesh and see the situation with their own eyes."

In his remarks, Shafiqul Alam also talked about the work the interim government is doing to meet the people‍‍`s desire for political change.

"One of Dr. Yunus‍‍` main jobs is to change labor laws. The reform commission will present their proposals by December 31, and we will discuss them with all political parties and groups," he said.

He assured that the national elections would happen once the reforms are done.

"The government has been working hard to put the right people in the right positions. Our economy, banking system, and law and order situation have all improved," he concluded.
