In a 24 hour count until Thursday morning, health authorities in Bangladesh reported another fatality from coronavirus.
With the latest addition in the mortality count, the aggregate deaths in the country has reached 29,425.
During the same period the health authorities also recorded 140 cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally of infections to 2,035,657.
Dhaka logged the highest number of cases among the eight divisions, with 117 infections.
Another 316 people recovered from the illness nationwide, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,981,673.
The latest Covid-19 update in the country was revealed by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Thursday afternoon.
The first coronavirus case in the country was reported on March 8, two years ago.
