Dengue deaths reach 105 since last January

Bangladesh reported 29 more dengue patients in the last 24 hours. However no deaths were reported from the disease.

Consequently, the death toll remains unchanged, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Since last January, the mosquito born disease has claimed 105 lives so far. From the fatalities reported, 95 people died in Dhaka alone, four in Mymensingh, two each in Chittagong and Khulna, and one each in Rajshahi and Barisal divisions. 

Among the new patients, four are undergoing treatment at hospitals in Dhaka while the remaining 25 cases have been reported from outside the division.
