Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to return to Bangladesh today, following his visit to Switzerland. 

He had been in Davos for the last four days, participating in the prestigious annual World Economic Forum (WEF) summit, where global leaders gathered to discuss pressing international issues.

The Emirates Airlines flight, which is carrying Dr. Yunus and his delegation, left Zurich International Airport on Friday night at 9:50 PM local time, according to his Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam. 

He also informed reporters that the flight is expected to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at around 5 PM today.

Dr. Yunus had reached Davos on January 21st and spent the past few days actively engaging with world leaders and key stakeholders during the WEF summit. His schedule was packed with meetings and events.

During the summit, Professor Yunus participated in 47 different events. 

These included meetings with four heads of state or government, discussions with four ministerial-level officials, and interactions with 10 high-ranking executives from various UN agencies. 

He also met with the CEOs of 10 major global businesses, attended nine events organized by the World Economic Forum, engaged with the media on eight occasions, and participated in two other notable programs.

Dr. Yunus‍‍` active involvement at the WEF summit highlights his continued influence on the global stage, particularly in discussions around economic development and social business.

This return marks the end of a busy and eventful trip, as Bangladesh eagerly awaits his arrival.
