Sinha's sister disappointed for acquittal of seven accused

Major Sinha Md Rashed Khan's elder sister expressed her condemnation over the acquittal of seven accused in the murder case of the former army major.

On Monday evening, the court awarded death penalty to sacked police personnel Pradip Kumar Das and Liakat Ali, two prime suspects in the shocking Sinha murder case. 

Sinha's elder sister Sharmin Shahria Ferdous who was present with the family in the court during the verdict said they are dissapointed that some of the accused in the case were acquiited. 

Sinha was shot dead at a police checkpoint on Cox's Bazar's Marine Drive on Jul 31, 2020.

The 36-year old was a member of the Special Security Force (SSF) tasked with guarding the prime minister. The army personnel went into early retirement to pursue his personal interests.
